Learn More About Rotary
The Rotary Club of the Triad is just one of over
31,000 Rotary clubs found in 168 countries worldwide. All in all,
over 1.2 million Rotarians provide a global network of community
volunteers, dedicated to building peace and goodwill through humanitarian
service. Our motto is "Service Above Self".
Members of a Rotary club are part of a diverse group
of professional leaders working to address various community and
international service needs and to promote peace and understanding
throughout the world.
Besides speaking directly with an active member
of a Rotary club, one of the best ways to learn more about our civic
service organization is to visit the web site of Rotary
International.
There are several Rotary clubs in the Triad area
of North Carolina, which is part of Rotary
District 7690. In addition to our club, there are five other
clubs in the immediate High Point area alone:
Members of Rotary have the ability to attend the
meetings of other Rotary Clubs, whether to "make up" a
missed meeting at their home club, or to share ideas, enjoy food
and fellowship, learn about a different culture, or make new acquaintances.
In addition, district and international conferences, trainings,
and other events are held each year to promote the ideals of Rotary.
